  • YU SUSHI grand opened February 2009, with elements of authentic Japanese elegant cuisine and comfortable Western dining atmosphere, YU SUSHI oriented as new style contemporary Japanese Restaurant.
2008
  • Grand opened 12/16/2008, five-star buffet Market Café situate in Landmark Club, The main concept of Market Café not only emphasis healthy and organic food use, but also control mileage of food.
  • The Ambassador donated value NT$1.56 million dollars of moon cakes to the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families for 2,000 families who live in poverty.
  • To support emergency services of MacKay Memorial Hospital, the Jinde Hsu Memorial Foundation, Shihlin Electric Co., and Ambassador Hotel donated Volkswagen T5 ambulance vehicle the hospital.
2007
  • A CUT STEAKHOUSE grand opened 11/9/2007. The name, A CUT derivate from meaning of the testy beef, as well represent Ambassador concept of bring the most superior beefsteak and wine banquet to all guests.
2006
  • On the 25th anniversary of Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung, the hotel invited children from the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families to enjoy elaborated five-star gourmets.
  • During the Lamp Festival celebration , the Ambassador donated NT$760 thousand dollars for the Taipei Government to support minority of the society.
2005
  • On the memorial concert for ex-chairman Shuzhen Hsu, a charitable donation of NT$480 thousand dollars was rewarded to sixteen poor students with excellent performance in departments of tourism, architecture, and electronic engineering.
  • The Ambassador Hsinchu had the honor to get recognition from Les Clefs d’Or, a world-class hotel professional organization. It is quite a rare honor that five staff members are awarded at the same time.
  • The group won awards of creative cuisine, desserts, etc. yearly in the cook-off holding by the Preparatory Committee of Chinese Food Festival, Taiwan Visitors Association.
  • Le Bouquet pastry shop of Ambassador Hotel Taipei established Jan. 6, 1994. The five-star pastry shop combine elements of artistic, classy, and modern, as well successfully promoting gift exchange culture
2004
  • On the 40th anniversary of Ambassador Hotel Taipei, the Ambassador invited children from the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families to celebrate Moon Festival together and donated NT$1.2 million dollars to the foundation.
  • The Ambassador sponsored NT$400 thousand dollars for rebuilding Koala House of Taipei Zoo.
  • To advocate spirit of boundless love without boundary between countries, employees of the three Ambassador hotels voluntarily donated their one-day earning for sum up to NT$1 million dollars for helping victims of the South-East Asia Tsunami.

  • The Ambassador Taipei won the Best Award of 92 year’s Taipei City Hotel Japanese Lecture & Testing.
2001
  • The Ambassador Hsinchu opened and joined the group.
2000
  • The hotels obtained ISO 9002 quality certification and became the first five-star tourist hotel to have this honor in northern Taiwan.
1999
  • The Ambassador sponsored charitable activities included the Terry Fox Charity Run for Cancer Research, Ten Remarkable Mothers Selection, and International Disability Serial Activities.
  • The Ambassador donated NT$12 million dollars to support victims of the 9/21 Earthquake and directly delivered emergency goods, including 5,000 Hokkaido Bread, bed sheets, and more to the earthquake areas.
  • The group was awarded a two-year honor certification of Safety & Health Self-Protection System Business Organization.
  • The group won an Excellent Staff Award in the competition held by the Labor Safety & Health Group Organization.

  • The group won the highest honor “Five Star Award” in the national competition of Labor Safety & Health Excellent Organization, held by the Council of Labor Affairs, Executive Yuan Taiwan.

  • The Ambassador was graded as “Deluxe Class” by SRS-WORLDHOTELS and awarded the Excellent Welfare Organization Prize of by the Department of Labor, Taipei City Government.

  • Jinde Hsu Memorial Foundation was founded for doing research on industry and commerce, as well fostering persons of talent.
  • The Ambassador Taipei and Kaoshiung were both rated as “Five Plum” tourist hotels by the Tourism Bureau Ministry of Transportation and Communication, Report of China.

  • In response to the government’s policy of developing the countries tourism industry, the Ambassador Hotel Taipei was incorporated with the goal of establishing the first international-standard hotel in Taiwan with an investment of 60 million capitals.
